The Work Behind the Work
When you watch a blockbuster, you’re watching paint. The rust on a hero vehicle, the scorch on a crashed hull, the centuries of wear on a temple wall—none of it is real, and all of it had to be made real by someone at a bench, with a brush, under the scrutiny of cameras that forgive nothing.
That was my job for over 20 years.
I led teams of up to eleven artists on productions with the largest budgets in cinema history. I painted alien worlds, sword-and-sandal epics, and sets built at a scale not seen since the golden age of film. On Blade Runner 2049, I art-worked all seven production Spinners—full paint effects, inside and out, on the police K-Spinner fleet and the breakdown of the hero limo interiors—the machines that define the visual identity of that film.
Every commission from this studio is executed exactly as it would have been on production: same techniques, same standards, same hands. The only difference is the destination. Instead of a film set, it goes to your collection.

Commission a Cinematic Finish
This is not a print shop, and there is no inventory. Every piece is produced to order, one at a time, from my studio bench.
The process is simple:
- Choose your finish. Browse the Reference Library (Blade Runner 2049 section) or the Reference Library (Star Wars section)—a catalogue of the paint effects I mastered on production, from industrial hard-surface weathering to atmospheric sci-fi patinas. Each reference is a technique, not a template. Your piece will be an original execution of it.
- Choose your scale.
- Collector’s Study—12″ × 12″. The finish at reading distance. The scale you live closest to.
- Composition Standard—18″ × 24″. The anchor format—substantial enough to hold a room without overwhelming it.
- Gallery Masterpiece—24″ × 36″. The focal-point scale, where the layering reads across the room, not just up close.
- Production Scale—36″ × 48″. The summit of the catalogue. The full treatment, executed as it was on the production—carrying the most of what the smaller canvases only glimpse.
- Submit your production request. I personally review every commission. Once accepted, your piece enters a strictly limited queue—the same way work was scheduled on set: one job, done properly, before the next begins.
- Receive your artifact. Hand-finished, hand-numbered, and signed in archival ink, and shipped worldwide with a serialized Certificate of Authenticity.
